I have looked at 4 months of results on spielbank Wiesbaden at betting on red after 4 blacks in a row, betting once then waiting for another 4 blacks and so on, chasing $10 wins you would need a bank roll of $2550 because the most I saw went to 8, 7 misses then win , this can be applied to all ec's which would give good results on rng roulette, possible too slow on a real wheel, who has looked in to this and I would like to hear opinion's on this

Unfortunately, this won't work, as longer tests show. No matter how long the sequence is (2,3,4,5...). The number of misses will be the same as the longest red (or black) streak. Putting it to the test over 10,000,000 trials confirms it. Here's a sample of the longest it can go with a run of four:

21, 16, 17, 15, 19, 20.

You'll get similar numbers with a run of any length. This method comes up pretty regularly, but there's no merit to it. It only seems that way because no-one checks over enough trials.

Right.  Like Harry & Pales point out we have to establish a range and stick to it because we could be facing even a Monte Carlo moment which is based on multiple successive slivers of a percent chance, repeating.  The key is that the odds of our bets NOT hitting within our established range are extremely rare, and THAT'S why it works.

Although we should keep in mind that 4 successive losses are pulled off the back end of the worst sequence.

I know you've posted this method a few times on various forums but to be honest I've only just realized it's very similar to the way I play (kind of random against random on the EC's).

I still don't quite understand what you mean by "waves", but I get the main idea. Thanks.

I'll post up my method over the weekend sometime.

But I'll watch for this one. Ooooppps.  Weekend is over.

Yes, its 5 EC's in a row. :)

That output corresponds 1:1 with the first output in this thread.  The first output shows percentages of all occurrences and the second output shows number of occurrences.  They are the same output (except minor and normal variance).

reyth your program out put can show, in a row amounts,but can it also show rows with a break and then another row ? ie rrrrrbrrrr , if so this would show interesting and lopsided out comes,seems the longer the row , the less consequential they become

Right, at this point you are speaking about an aggregate, where your example is r r r r r b followed by
r r r r, which is 6 red in 7 spins, 7 red in 8 spins, 8 red in 9 spins & 9 red in 10 spins.

This is a question that has plagued me for some time; i.e. at what point does an aggregate of one opposing EC equal a streak of the non-opposing EC?

The truth is, I don't know and I haven't yet figured out a way to analyze this like I do with streaks.

However, I am working on an aggregate analysis that shows minimum appearances of groups of numbers and have successfully obtained large amounts of data, discussed here:

I am finding this betting method to be too volatile.  Instead I propose 4 consecutive losses on any EC, then betting the 4 step Martingale.  I believe we will have much better results there.  Just the idea of being able to bet consecutively with every spin and expect short term benefits seems to me to go against one of my favorite principles which is:

The strength of a trigger is in its rarity.

I mean even Dobble requires the length of the sequence to be 10 spins.

Besides, I think I have misunderstood the bet selection -- well let's just say now that I am waiting for 4 in a row of any EC and betting "OPPOSITE".

So continuing on now with 4 wins and a labby showing 3 1 1 2 5...

1) It is designed for low bankroll requirements

Ok I am only down 8 units so I will triple the unit size & use a labby to gain 3 units.

Oh and a side note, since I have increased the EC trigger to 5, things have noticeably (not unbearably) slowed down a bit.  So, I decided to look into the statistics of the Dozens & Columns to see if we could do as well as the EC's.  What I discovered is that the Dozens & Columns will actually do slightly BETTER than the EC's on odds to hit & payout (when configured properly).

Using a trigger of 10 misses on a Dozen/Column and a betting range of 6 bets will produce slightly better results.  Here is the progression:

As you can see it costs slightly more than the 15 units of the EC's BUT it has the potential to sometimes pay 2 units instead of just 1.

They also have a better hit rate (slightly):

Whew.  10 days in the can!  Lets see how long it took me...  Yikes, 9 hours!!!

Well so far I think this is an awesome money management system but I am concerned about a few things.  The first thing is how easy it is to manage losses when you are at the higher betting stages because the "self funded" funds don't give much room for that?

Also if a person were to use this IRL, I think they might want to get up EARLY in the day because if things go south (and they will), it is going to take more time to set things right than just 1 hour a day...

So I will at some point need to calculate the ACTUAL & REASONABLE required bankroll for this; I mean sure you can do it for 150 units but the risk of being forced out is pretty massive with the whole 4 weeks being considered...

Its interesting to note that it took me 9 hours to make only 136 units; if I told someone I would do this, they would surely think me insane EXCEPT for the fact we are betting chip amounts that are TEN (AND THEN TWENTY, FORTY & EIGHTY) TIMES the unit size!

As a side note, I am realizing that betting chips that are 10x the unit size is not absolutely required here, a person could bet 5x or 2x, it wouldn't affect the odds of success to change the chip amount. 

What is important to note though, is how 10x gives a larger bankroll to use as a backup for future attempts at a lower "x", whereas 5x or 2x has less opportunity to have that effect because their amounts are already lower... 

There is real power in having a large bankroll...

WOOT!  Halfway there!!  Now were are betting 4 times our original bet!

Brainstorm idea just now where instead of 150 units to start (where on day two if you lose you are down to 100), start with 200 units instead, holding 50 back.  That way if we lose on day two we have 150 to start again.  We can also have 2, 3 or more units of 50 to "hold back" in case we want to protect against successive chop.

Whoops...  Made some pretty massive mistakes on this recovery sequence!  Thank goodness for testing to get these sorts of bugaboos out...

I broke the designer's rule of "limiting my exposure" by staying after my designated hits. 

I am familiar through my software testing of random sequences with wheel states; even through they are impossible to predict with sufficent accuracy ahead of time, they DO exist, where the wheel can greatly favor unique numbers (4 repeats in 37 spins) or greatly favor repeat numbers (20 repeats in 37 spins). 

When too many numbers repeat too often, we find large portions of the wheel that simply go missing.

Obviously we cannot avoid these bad states entirely but we CAN limit our exposure to them in two ways:

1) Limit the time we spend spinning the wheel in a single session; the longer we spin the greater the chances of hitting a bad state (q.v. Dobble's Short Run TheoryTM)

2) Limit our losses; end our sessions with "4 column losses"

This doesn't mean we need to end our recovery labby, it just means we need to reset the wheel state; q.v. Harry-Pales Rare Event TheoremTM.

Side note, have added free standing 2 DS to the analysis; in this case we got the following output 7,11,7,11 which means I should have been playing craps but w/e.  Anyway, the 12 numbers have the same stats but the progression is the following:

3   -14    +4

And therefore I start 2 spins later to match the stats for the Dozens/Columns.  The cost is also slightly less (-14) but the payout is so much greater (usually +4 units)!

Of course this also helps the frequency of betting opportunities which also allows for tightening up of the trigger which I plan to do once I get into the 4th week.

I also am planing to examine 4 free-standing streets as well...

 Hello - i read your post and don't fully understand how you bet.
 Can you explain when and where you bet.

 For example you see 4 reds then bet black for three attempts.

1) Wait for any EC to miss 7 times in a row, then bet it 4 times in a row
2) Wait for any Doz/Col to miss 12 times in a row, then bet it for 6 times in a row
3) Wait for any TWO DS to miss for 12 times in a row, then bet it for 6 times in a row, halving your unit amount

If at any time the proposed betting sequence misses, end the session and begin a recovery Labby for less than 10 total winning bets to recover all profit.  If in the Labby, the proposed betting sequence fails then end the session and begin a new one with the current Labby figures in place.

Follow the unit amounts in the "SALES PITCH" part of the instruction post or make your own schedule (e.g. as little as $30 USD to risk in order to gain $2000 at the end of the 28th day).
