How does this fit in with this thread: https://www.roulettelife.com/index.php?topic=2532.msg39132#msg39132

I like this idea too!

I been taking a break from Ching A Ling method.
Reason is that simulations is not the same thing as real play with real money.

When you play the game for real with real money the game change and you don't get same succés with real results versus simulated results.

I still work on selections for the Ching A Ling method.
Stop playing and did not continue after some scary sessions.

Cheers

I think your target is too small  Sputnik.
You need to allow for a loss at some point . The basic idea is good, though  -  Aim for a realistic target .

You know I haven't looked up that ching a ling method yet so I don't know the statistics involved and like what worst sequences we can expect.

The forum has vanish - but when i see a winning method or something have some good parts i save document into PDF and put them into my Roulette collection.
Sometimes two years later i might come up with a solution for something i save two years ago.
Complex thinking process comes in waves with failure and succés.

I can send you a copy of the Ching A Ling Topic.
The PDF is just a copy of the forum talk.

I say yes is worth reading all the 76 pages to get a complete perspective.
You get several members report succés using the same method as the Topic creator.
And as you move on reading you get to see that he won 30K and bust and still had 25K left and start all over again.

Cheers

Sputnik,
Wish you the best  with your endeavour.

But I guess the best thing about Ching-A-Ling is its esotic name.
Its thread is also fascinating, but when you bring the play at the felt is like everything else.

Betting on EC should be dismissed. Once for all.
My two cents.

Glad you guys don't see why EC's are great. Guess you can't beat 100 flips of a coin. I only want 3 net wins for each 100 spins. I quit as soon as I've got it. My last student was getting 4.5 won sessions for each lost session of 7 net losses. It takes 2.33 won sessions to make up for one 7 net loss session. So that student was winning 2 to 1 on EC sessions. And all that was proven to me before adding virtual bets. It's actually fun to teach someone and watch them grow. You guys that know stuff should take on a student just to see what you can prove to yourself. It's way more fun than posting on forums. Course I wrote software that is real world, like really playing at a casino. It records all bets and shows results so that you can follow along and see exactly where mistakes were made by the student.  You've seen the charts here.

Those numbers are proof that a student can be taught to win in about 30 days, working every day for at least two hours. It's fantastic to watch someone open their eyes. It's an attempt to pass on experience and showing them how to avoid the pitfalls of gambling.

Gizmotron, although I agree with your point there are times, and not infrequent, when you can't get not even 1 net wins.

Gizmotron, although I agree with your point there are times, and not infrequent, when you can't get not even 1 net wins.

Well my untrained student went from nothing to losing one session for every 4.5 winning sessions. So I know for a fact that you won't win all 3 net win sessions. I used to think that a John Patrick 2, 1, 2 or a 2, 1, system was a good idea. But it's far better to just whittle away with flat bets and virtual bets to get those three net wins.

Like this:

$5 chips, times 18 spots = $90.

Three net wins is $270.

20 sessions per month = $5,400.

Now that assumes that all sessions would be won. I can do it. I do it because I'm far more selective during those three or four hours of play each session. I've never seen pure chaos in my charts for all my 6 groupings that I keep track of in that time period. It never happens. And I know how and when to attack. It's nothing but skill and waiting. Every session is different. But that is where the skill is. You make use of what you are getting. It's an art form to look casual and act like you are there just to have fun. You press all the buttons like you are a tourist. You fake being mad when you lose a bet. You put on a show of believable emotions. You celebrate other people's wins. You hit your goal and cash out. You take 20% and go lose it on craps playing minimum bets. You wrack up comp points so that they will try to lure you back. They know it is just luck. They are the ones on the your hook. It's a bigger game than just Roulette.

When you talk about $5 times 18 spots are you still talking about ECs ?

3 Net wins in  100 spins  . How many bets ?  Are you using a negative progression ?
What is your table bankroll for this  ? Is it  7 x $5 ?
And your session bankroll is what ?
