From member Scarface at RF >> "Back in the day, I was very naive when it come to roulette.  I would bet cold numbers, thinking they were due to hit, and using a negative progression.  Lost alot of money.  One thing I noticed is there were always a few numbers that seemed to repeat over and over.  Playing repeaters seems counterintuitive, but from what I always witness I would have had a much better hit rate playing them.

So, I decided to switch it up.  Now, I play around 4 numbers that are the most recent repeaters.  I've had so much more success with this strategy"

After many years of playing this game, I've learned alot!  Sleepers can sleep a LONG time.  Nothing is due.  Negative progressions can kill bankroll.  Playing a few hotties is the best strategy.  What I define as hot is not whats on the casino marquee.  Hot, to me, is a few of the most recent repeaters.  I've noticed nearly everytime I play, there is always number that stands out in the short term.  Looking at the results of past 20 spins on the marquee, its very common at some point to see the same number hit 4,5, or even 6 times within 20 spins.  I always see this, it happens everytime!

Gotta use good money management.  I usually only use a progression if I'm "in the money".  Gradually increasing bets as profits rise can exponentially increase your winnings when the hot streaks come in.  Normally, I flat bet if I'm down, until things turn around.  If my bet selection keeps hitting, I stay on those numbers.  But if its not hitting, gotta switch up and play something different.  Like I said, there will be a point in playing that 1 or 2 numbers will repeat like crazy in a short period of time.

Whats even more interesting,,,,,,you are doing "good" playing repeaters in YOUR own style. I have the VERY VERY best way to play them in the biz. Point being, with your rules, mess around with it/adjust a couple of rules and see if you cant increase profits. Trust me, its there WAITING for you. Again, kudos to you.

Thanks Ken!  Of course I'm open to any suggestions, or pointers.  Do you play a similar way?

"Thanks Ken!  Of course I'm open to any suggestions, or pointers.  Do you play a similar way? " >> Tough to explain. I do play repeaters (hot) numbers and how many I play fluctuates based on my rules along with gaps of "no wins". My rules are top notch. I went through dozens of variations in order to get where I am at today.

Your rules *MUST ADJUST* according to whats going on. They cant be a one size fits all situation.

This is the only area of focus that has worked well out of all my testing attempts.  Methods that are based on inside bets, numbers repeating at a higher rate than their expected 1:37 rate for a short span, outperform any of the other fallacy systems I've been looked at.

And then taking that to the next level by reducing the total numbers being bet on to less than eight...and ultimately less than four...now you've got something that will win over time.

I have the first part of the above, am working on the second.

Tough to reduce numbers while retaining the success of something you're playing that's winning spectacularly at 10-16 numbers.  But that's the job. If you're betting on more than 4-6 numbers, you still have work to do, keep at it.  That's my current focus.

I do 2-3 85% of the time and 4 numbers 15% of the time. It ALL depends on the current SITUATION.

This reminds me of roulette players who refuse to evolve with some instead pushing for views of their dribble....lol.

With which theory  you can explain that inside bets are better  than outsides. Fot all wagers the hit chance  is 2,7 x the number of wagered numbers. 18 Chips on Red have the same chance as 18 straight numbers on Red. PLease explain the difference. On the French roulette with La Partage the win chance is 98,65% and for the inside bets 97,3%

the adjustment to a game is what separates the student from the experienced player i have to said.
everything works well until it does not. then what we do is when experience comes in.
we flasback in a second in our head the results and actions we have taken in the past the last time it happend.

so you remember the time you stoped and took a brake. then came back thinking the game had changed only to find out you are still losing and hitting nothing for hours.
or you remember you moved to another table and made good .
or you remember that you should never look upon a game as "this is it", that it is just another brick in the wall and nothing more.
and you realize that what reallly matters is winning the war and that you will LOSE many battles to get there.

the most important thing is to be your best and clear minded. if I win by making mistakes I am not as thrilled as losing doing and playing my best, and that is just me.
your own rules are important so dont get me wrong.  they make the difference as long as you are aplying them.
my favorite is that one. dont be a sitting duck hoping for your numbers to catch on fire again. if they are gone you are much better not playing or switching. you can not "buy a win".
the playing of having a few numbers can be the most painfull experience for a player. when you are home doing rx ,the pain last 3/20  seconds because of the speed you aply to it.

at a table it is quantified x 200. and often it can really be unbearable. many dont realise that and up their bets too fast and lose their whole bank, thinking, "never seen that before".  but they then look back at the marqui only to see thay have only be playing 40 spins.???
the exact duplicate in practice we do at home in under rated and often the reason we get stunned when we play live.   the pain we feel at home is almost non-existent. without the house edge most of us would still lose.
over betting and the lack of patience is turning many of us like "sheeps going to a slaughter house".
be a great Samurai !!!
the best you can be.
every game you play as if your life depended on it!
as if you were trying to reach the top-pick of the North-face rock with no rope, nothing. climbing the impossible as if your life really depended on your optimal performance, where no mistakes was allowed.
when you desire something so badly you somehow face your fears with ease and become the best you can be.

God bless
Rinad
