If you luck out nothing on that list will make you a winner.

Yes i need a lot of luck when i buy a lottery ticket .. lol

What are the corner stones of winning at roulette ? It is very simple i looked at people who are making money consistently playing the game.

The corner stones they use are:

1)  Triggers.

2)  Only bet the most frequent winning range.

3)  Cycle betting with progression.

4)  Virtual losses.

5)  Stop when the X event happens.

I don't think i have to explain much. I use a few systems which make use of these principals with success.
But i don't use virtual losses in all of them. The X events is a bad run from hell.

Shadow you make some very good points.
I have added "Triggers and virtual losses"  to the poll. Hot or cold numbers fall under the "bet selection" choice and betting within the most frequent winning range fall under the "hit and run" choice.

Everyone is able to change their votes if they wish.

OK!  I changed Bankroll (assumed) to Triggers/Virtual losses which is a betting method.

Reyth, I wish bankroll is assumed  :-*
Seriously, I believe most players play their strategies with inadequate bankroll, or with higher denomination chips than they can afford.

I agree but since I am limited to 5 I have to focus on the most practical essential things.  I originally had about 10 things checked before I realized I was limited to 5. >.<

There are a lot of people with great new ideas (for roulette) but are broke as heck.

It does suck, you wont get very far.

Bankroll

Experience

Discipline

Luck

No bankroll equals no chance of winning, big bankroll equals big chance of winning. Experience covers most of the other factors. Discipline and luck are inextricably bound.

Which is why you should protect your Bankroll . Without it you can't play.

For these who mention bankroll and luck.... stay away of this game. It's simply not for you....yet, or may be for ever.
With such a mindset win is something out  context.
Bankroll is for looser.  Looser always plan to loose, then bring more where he already lost some.
How many Betts you guys plan to miss there anyway? 5? 10?
If after 10 bets nothing happen , it's a bad idea to continue playing.... and forget such a thing as " recovery". That is for these who are ill. These do recover.
Winner does one thing only there, he press for all edge he can get. Be it in tracking, data analysis, related studies, research projects , or play itself.
EDGE, guys, and nothing else matters.
