The first to me known variant could stand 60 missing spins on a DS. That means it wins many times before a loss, a loss eating all wins before.

We think often a progression must end with a hit and then the session shall break even at least.

The "Win as much you want" call for five spins on a DS, and using a fib progression.
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233 hold 60 spins. And we must win twice in shorter time.

I have double the spins on the DS to ten, which means we will recover after a few more hits. On the other hand we can stand 120 losses in a row, and more if we chose to do so.

We may need some more hits to getting a head.
