Thanks to Sputnik and the other members, this is one of the best topics we have.
Here are some related topics, so we have them all for reference in one place:
Reyth did a very nice demo and commentary for the Delayed parachute. Enjoy!

- Track all the numbers until there is only one number unhit.

- Wait until that number is spun.

aaaaand yet again, unplayable in real life/live casino play. Your *TIME* would not be worth it.

[This is a message that was lost in the recent backup/restore.]

For all those interested, i attached the tracker for the 61 spins, (99 percent)

notes: you can modify the chip values on the V Column
tracker stops on a win
Enter your spins on the B Column or press F9 to refresh
Bets are the follow the Last for all except straight numbers
If previous spin was 0, then the bets are Red, Dozen1, Line1, Corner 1, Street 1
Straight number bets are the previous+1
Result on the Z Column

Regards,
Alex

I was thinking about the Parachute (I have also seen it referred to as the Pioneer and the Pivot), and I was wondering if there would be any advantage to hedging the bet by placing an additional chip on an even chance. Such an action would certainly buy more spins. It could, as an example, go something like this:

1. Even Chance

2. Dozen or Column

At this point, you would also add one unit to an even chance in addition to the inside bet.

3. Double Street

4. Double Street

5. Quad or Street

6. Quad or Street

7. Street

8. Split

9. Split

10. Split

11. Single #

12. Single #

13. Single #

14. Single #

15. Single #

16. Single #

17. Single #

18. Single #

19. Single #

Total outlay would be 36 units, and at least 19 spins (if not more), depending on how many times the even chance wager cancelled out the losing inside bet.

I do not know what would be better if you would lose all 36 units---accept the loss or try to recoup. That, I will leave to your good judgement.

Regards,

Rick

I like to use some sort of hedging when betting with the Paroli (up as you win)
This version of Parachute has some similarities with the Paroli - so IMO you do have a point.
Now HOW to hedge, it's another story.

What about playing the parachute method backwards? Starting with a single number and a 1 unit bet and working backwards to splits, streets, lines, etc each step increasing bet amount?

Sounds crazy but Ive been messing around with this idea today. The goal would be 10 unit profit. I havent figured out the actual bet amounts yet but the idea would be something like:

ONE # (i use #36 as my testing):
bet 1u on 1 number for 26 spins

SPLITS (35/36):
bet 3u on for 8 spins
bet 5u on for 8 spins
bet 7u on for 5 spins

STREETS (34 to 36):
bet 10u for 5 spins
bet 13u for 5 spins
bet 15u for 5 spins

CORNER (32-33/35/36):
bet 18u for 5 spins
bet 21u for 5 spins
bet 25u for 3 spins

LINE (31-36):
bet 30 for 5 spins
bet 40 for 3 spins

DOZENS (25-36):
bet 50 for 5 spins
bet 60 for 3 spins
bet 80 for 3 spins

EVEN CHANCE (19-36):
bet 100 for 5 spins
bet 150 for 3 spins

OK... so again this is just an example... I have not figured out the actual bet amounts or bank roll or anything. Just throwing out this as an idea! after playing for a few hours I have not gone past the streets level yet. Most all of my hits are in the one number bet or splits.

Doing the parachute strategy backwards Im noticing profit quickly. Check it out. Let me know what you think and if you have anything to add such as actual bet amounts.

I will add some more ideas to this. Lets say you have a 50% chance of hitting one number within 26 spins. The next level, a split bet, you want to increase your chances of hitting at this level to say 67% so you would want to go 20 spins. Next level would be a single street and again increase your chances to 75% hit and go 16 spins. If you make it all the way to the corners bet you would want 90% hit rate so thats 20 spins on the corner. If you still havent hit yet, a 95% hit rate on double street or line would be 17 spins. Still betting and havent hit? A 99% chance of hitting dozens would be 12 spins on a dozen. And last a 99.9% hit rate on even chance would be 10 spins.

All rough estimates. Just ideas. My thought process is if I havent hit on the very first level (1 single number) then the next level I want to have a higher percentage chance of hitting a split. Each step I want to increase my chances not stay at a 50% hit rate. The goal is I never want to be betting large amounts on an even chance!

OK... destroy my ideas. Im doing pretty good so far not even knowing what my bet amounts should be as Im not getting  past the streets level.

Jake007,
If I'm not wrong the system requires:
315 units for the first three steps (straights - splits - streets)
585 units adding corners
855 units adding lines
1525 units adding dozens
2475 units adding EC

Hi Jake,

I notice your progression is not a '1 hit recover all' type of betting. So suppose you get a hit on the 1st bet for street, how many elements will you go back and resume your next bet?
