blue22, the great casino of Monte Carlo is open every day at 14 hours, entrance fee of 10 €, but beware, only access to an American roulette table and slots (the one-handed bandits !). You have to pay an additional 10 € to access the 20 French Roulette Tables (Europe Room). So, 20 € to play with a French roulette, table 5 € minimum. To the left of the great casino, there is the casino "Sun", free entrance, very relaxed atmosphere, tables of English roulette, 10 € minimum. On the casino square, there is the "Café de Paris", free admission, electronic roulette, but above all 4 very interesting mini-roulette stations. You shoot yourself the ball, with a pinball zipper, 0.50 € minimum. I did fall ball experiments on the areas (secteurs) with this roulette model. My results are really incredible. This roulette model can become a real laboratory for the researcher. Be discreet, however, the ceiling there is 1 camera per square meter ! If you like walking, walk 15 minutes to the town of Beausoleil, Kraemer Street, villa Verveine (at the end of the street). It was Marigny de Grilleau's address, he had a very nice view of the big casino. You can also go to the Beausoleil cemetery to greet the greatest French roulette player. An anecdote, members of an Italian roulette forum, come together to the big casino of Monte Carlo. I admire the friendship that there is on their forum !

So 20 Euros to enter the " James Bond " room. Stratege ?

Strange that the minimums are larger in the Sun rooms .
Thanks for the info .

Things are so, Scepticus ! At the Sun casino, there are nevertheless rich or rich people who come to play, they want a fast game and be quiet (to go in and out as they want, but maybe they do not like to pay 20 €, too much expensive ?). So the Sun is suitable, and to prevent small players and the curious come, the bet at 10 € is dissuasive. Each Monte Carlo casino channels a type of player. James Bond  8) comes rather in the private lounge (VIP), but possible visit on Sunday morning (10 euros).  :o

Thanks  Stratege

If I went to Monte Carlo I woud prefer to visit THE casino and consider the entrance fee  acceptable . Just to see he inside and have  even just ONE bet would be sufficirent for me .

Yes, Scepticus is the "good method", visit the casino and win roulette before leaving ! There are beautiful frescoes to see (example: the young woman with a cornucopia). It is a mythical place, many stories about this place (and books). Marigny said in 1926, "The Casino Monte Carlo is the only casino in the world where we accept entry to the winning player. "
