Finding time to play
« on: July 01, 2018, 09:54:10 PM »
Does anyone else struggle with this? I manage to nick about 30-60 minutes most evenings to play but as I generally win my sessions I wish I could play a bit more. Not all day but perhaps a couple of uninterrupted hours a day where I can fully focus on it would be superb. Most evenings I have to play with a 1 year old trying to fall asleep on my arm which does have the benefit of preventing me yelling angrily when the wheel misbehaves! But it can also mean mistakes are more likely to happen and I really dislike not being able to apply myself 100% to the wheel - its hard enough to beat as it is.

Does anyone else struggle with balancing playing time with everything else they have to do?!

I cant even play during my lunch hour at work because I play inside numbers and trying to play on my phone its just too difficult - you get less time because the phone internet is lagging behind, and my stubby fingers often hit the wrong numbers too. And I cant play on my computer at work because they have a block on gambling sites and its against the IT policy!

Quit from job, and you have at least +8 hours to play. If it is really profitable, it is the right choice.

Well I enjoy my job and it keeps me grounded. I'd have to win a lot to make up for the benefits of a job too, like paid holiday, national insurance contributions, pension, private health care, sick pay and so on.

I have various winning methods now but don't believe I have a holy grail so a bad session would be awful if this is your only income. My dream is to reach a point where I make enough money on the wheel to go part time but I'd want some serious wedge (£50k plus) in my account before I'd take that kind of step.

Mr J I'm doing fine online but as I say, using a proper computer or laptop, not my phone. I mainly play at Supercasino now which seems pretty fair and genuine. Sometimes on play tech but I find the spin times too fast to get all my chips on sometimes. I avoid Evolution wheels and believe they do fk with you after a bit of winning.

Maybe you have to become a professional player when the only thing that you think about is Roulette.

You need to get a tablet to play on! Or a stylus for your phone.  :D

In the states, no online play.  So I play B&M only.  Problem is it's a 2 hour drive

"In the states, no online play. So I play B&M only. Problem is it's a 2 hour drive" >>  Years ago, I drove a little under 2 hours to the closet casino. So I understand. There were days, I hit my goal in 30 minutes.....back in the car & headed home!

Mr J, nice!  Wish I could do that lol.  I'm gonna spend at least 6 hours.  Normally, hit the buffet and have a few drinks while I'm there

That's the problem, I don't have time to go even though I have got 2 casinos within a few miles of me. Plus they spin so slowly it takes ages when you are there. I get a week or so here and there when I can go every evening or day time at weekends, when the wife and kid go away to see her family abroad. I do win some money but I still get frustrated at how slow it can be. Anyway now I've got 2 seemingly consistent ways to win I am looking forward to when I can go back to B&M and walk out with a nice wad of cash. ;D
