just the chance that the croupier dropped/spun the ball around the same time or that the ball bounce was coincidental?

Coincedential.  There are incedentst... what happen while these incedents are taking place is Coincedential.  No number ever become hot without reason..  it will continue hot while reason ( reasons ) are present. Look to the root of the problem, determination of reasons permits predict numbers. ;).

After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that there are no "hot" or "cold" numbers!
It is actually a classic misdirection ploy, that is embellished by players imaginations.
Let's say, number seventeen came up five times in a row!
Would that be classified a "hot" number?
If you forecast the first one, then "pressed" each subsequent result, yes, you would consider that it was indeed, a "hot" number, however, what is your opinion, should you have missed the sequence, and considered each subsequent repeat, more unlikely to continue the trending number?
Would you consider it a "cold" number for the efficient way it seemed to destroy your bank?
Would you contrive some plausible excuse to qualify missing the repeater run (such as luck)?

The probability of getting 1 hit equally distributed to every number, once every 37 spins, very quickly rises to practically impossible and continues to be so, as the examined sequence becomes greater in length.  No physical cause is required.

I think its interesting to note that hot numbers are really one side of the same coin; there will be a corresponding set of cold numbers as well -- the coin is called IMBALANCE.

In fact we attack on wheels distances , lets suppose that numbers change positions , but the distance always remain the same , this pure geometry and phyics .

fyodor,

A hot number to me means it appeared at least  3 times in the previous 38 spins. However, that number CAN'T be predicted.

We DO know though that number already appeared twice in the previous 38 spins.  The basis for many methods of play.

yes horsewill  since it's possible after the 2nd result for it to repeat within 38 spins. it is also possible to take 30- 40 spins to reappear.

so I try for about 9-12 spins. maybe come back after 20 for a few tries.
