« on: September 06, 2017, 06:40:12 AM »

Anyone ever hear me say I think you are usually playing against other players at the table? Of course im crazy for thinking it but here I am to say i am not.

Well the idea of applying it to live table games and etg has apparently been around since 1995

There is a competitive website where players can play rated games and the game is recorded for playback and placed in a high score list.  You actually get 3000 units and 250 max bet and as many spins and as much time as you need.

@remolacha I Googled it for you

Parimutuel betting (from the French: Pari Mutuel or mutual betting) is a betting system in which all bets of a particular type are placed together in a pool; taxes and the "house-take" or "vigorish" are removed, and payoff odds are calculated by sharing the pool among all winning bets.

Sure Dobble, its roulette-simulator [dot] info.

Keep in mind though, I don't trust their RNG for serious testing because I have consistently found it to be "soft".

However, its a fun way to compete with a semi-competent RNG. :)

@scepticus if you were asking me how the winner is decided... well its usually associated with horse racing so the outcome is of who wins what races and the bookie usually wins as well

At this point the comeptition is apparently accrued cumulative profit.  Right now the high score is highly accessible. :)

@Heat: Ya I like the site for its built in stats capabilities and sometimes I feel like "going for it" and seeing how I do in a rated game. :)
